(March 31, 2003) - Confluent Software Inc. has released Confluent CORE 3.0, the latest version of its Web services monitoring and management platform. Confluent CORE 3.0 provides enterprise-class security management, a flexible deployment model, management for Java and .NET services right out of the box, and integration with leading systems management products. CORE 3.0's snap-in architecture provides rock-solid security management capabilities with a combination of built-in security services and integrated third party security technologies. CORE 3.0 supports a broad range of industry standards including WS-Security (WS-Sec) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). Additionally, CORE 3.0 provides integration with security technologies and products like LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, Netegrity SiteMinder, and Oblix NetPoint. With CORE 3.0, Confluent Software is announcing full support for heterogeneous environments composed of Java and .NET applications. CORE 3.0 is the first deployed Web services management platform that natively supports both Java and .NET applications. The latest version of the CORE platform also is integrated with BEA WebLogic Workshop and the HP OpenView management suite, as well as other management products. The CORE 3.0 platform gives customers the choice of deploying management capabilities through an intermediary-based Gateway or through interceptor-based agents depending on the requirements of the application. Both products may be simultaneously deployed and managed by CORE 3.0. For more information about CORE 3.0 visit www.confluentsoftware.com. Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
