PITTSBURGH, April 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- II-VI Incorporated today announced that it intends to release its fiscal 2005 third quarter results for the period ended March 31, 2005 on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 after the market closes. In conjunction with this release and to review the Company's financial results, market trends and future outlook, the Company will host a conference call that will be broadcast live over the Internet on Thursday, April 21, 2005.

The information to be released on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 will be filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on a Form 8-K and made available on the Company's website at http://www.ii-vi.com/ prior to the conference call that will take place on Thursday, April 21, 2005.
